The FCVFD has taken on one of it's biggest projects to date.We plan to replace our old fire station with a new and modern facility.With the expansion in the role we serve in the emergency services, a new and bigger fire station is well needed, and deserved for the residents of our coverage area, as well as the members of the Falls Creek Fire Department.
Basically, we have out grown our old fire station.
The fire station we are currently housed was built in 1949, and was not built to house the equipment needed for todays emergency services. We simply can not grow as we intend in our current location.
The new site is out of the way of traffic and on a quiet street, but still close enough to give us a good response to any emergency.
The members of the department are working very hard on this project and should be commended for all their efforts and dedication to the commnunity.
