New Building Project

The FCVFD resently purchased the land located on George Street and plan to build a new fire station there to replace the one on Main Street. The company has out grown the old fire station that was built in 1949 and needs more space to quarter our apparatus, present and future.
Our new location will allow a bigger station, with bigger facilities to meet our needs with bigger truck bays, social hall, kitchen, equipment storage, parking area's, etc... Plus it's location is out of the way from the traffic of Main Street, yet close enough for a quick response to an emergency.

The new fire station is in the early planning stage at this time but with the work and dedication of the members, the planning is coming along smoothly.
The land has been cleared of trees and debris and soon will be leveled out.

To read about and see pictures of the new building project, please see the New Building Project page.

New Squad

We recently replaced our Dodge Ram, Med 4, medical unit with a (year) Suburban. The new unit serves a variety of situations from medical emergencys to hazardous materials spills and is set up to transport fire fighters and act as a command post for all major emergency's.

The members have worked hard to obtain this piece of apparatus that has been much needed to serve our protection area.

Hummingbird Speedway

Spring will soon be upon us and this means racing at the Hummingbird will be back in action. Stop out and watch the races and please support your local fire departments, as Falls Creek and Reynoldsville fire departments will once again be on hand at the track.
